As we mark the fourth anniversary of the full-scale war in Ukraine, we recognise that this is a deeply tragic and solemn moment. I would like to express our continued solidarity and support to you, your colleagues, and your students.

Over these years, we have witnessed the extraordinary strength, resilience, and dedication of Ukrainian universities — your leadership, staff, and students. Despite immense hardship, you continue to teach, research, and lead, safeguarding not only your institutions but the future of Ukraine itself. We deeply admire this resilience and remain firmly committed to supporting you, both during the war and in the rebuilding that will follow.

The Twinning Initiative continues to focus on practical opportunities, partnerships, and projects that bring tangible benefits to your institutions, and we encourage you to remain engaged with the programmes currently available.
